I Have A Firm Lump Under The Skin Where My

I have a firm lump under the skin where my leg and torso meet. It is toward my rear end in a crease and not next to my vagina. When I sit for a long time I become aware of it. The boyfriend says it is skin colored and does not look like an ingrown hair it is about the size of a quarter by feeling of it. It may have been there yesterday...but today is when it announced itself. My activities obviously irritated it. And since I am aware of it now I have felt of it not infrequently. And...I am a worry wort. No health insurance, so no way to just zip on down to a doctor and solve this. Suggestions? Truly hoping it's not cancer.
