I Have A Fissure In Ano For The Past Month.

I have a fissure in ano for the past month. Already had an LIS surgery done eight years ago. Last week doc noted the fissure and said there were no piles. Yet I've been passing bright red drops of blood after each Bm. Pain is there but minimal. Been on third round of antibiotics. Pain goes up when antibiotic course is done. Is this your run of the mill garden variety fissure or am I missing something?
