I Have A Flesh Colored Growth Above My Left Tonsil

I have a flesh colored growth above my left tonsil almost like a second tonsil is there. I have no idea if it's been there a long time or new.
No other notable symptoms...not a smoker minimal drinking...long distance runner.
I just want it to go away!
