I Have A Fracture Of My T12 Vertebrae And Was

I have a fracture of my t12 vertebrae and was given a tlso back brace for it. Another doctor ordered kyphoplasty which the insurance company denied. If they won't reconsider the treatment, how long will I have to be in this brace and is there an alternative brace I could wear instead of the one that is full frontal/high back, 3 straps that fasten on each side. And how long will I have to be in the brace? My injury happened 2/6/2016.
