I Have A Friend, Age 72, Who Takes Lortabs Given

I have a friend, age 72, who takes lortabs given to her by her doctor. She takes 2 a day and thinks if the doctor gstroives them to her they are safe. She also takes ambian every night so she can sleep. She takes Prysolec daily for acid reflux. Her condition is deteriating. Is this mixture of pills causing her health to have difficulty in getting stronger?
