I Have A Friend Who Was Found Unconscious On The

I have a friend who was found unconscious on the bathroom floor, she had obviously vomited, and she was having convulsions. Earlier that day she had no symptoms. Several people saw her and said she was happy, upbeat, and feeling great. She is an energetic and outgoing person. She has been in ICU since Monday evening when her husband discovered her and called an ambulance. Doctors say she is septic. She may not survive. They have not found a cause. Could she have been poisoned? Where can I find more information about these symptoms?
