I Have A Friend Who Was In A Severe Accident

I have a friend who was in a severe accident crushing his right side. There was also damage done by doctors in treating through a surgery. He ha use many pills, acupuncture, patches etc. he is having a hard time finding a good doctor. He is also a veteran. What do you suggests ? Should he go to Shands hospital in Gainsvlle Fl. ?
