I Have A Friend With An 11 Year Old Son

I have a friend with an 11 year old son who appears to have symptoms of aspergers. He has difficulty making friends, limited eye contact, moves around and rocks when seated, strange pitch to his voice. His grandmother is schizophrenic. Is it likely that he will become schizophrenic in his teens? I am not sure how to approach these concerns with my friend. (He is from India, since ave 4or 5, and does alright in Catholic school, a small school with few resources. Thank You. Charlotte Hays, PhD
