I Have A Gynecological Question. For The Last Three Months

I have a gynecological question. For the last three months I've had issues with my period. I have my normal cycle followed by a week of light/semi light discharge then a full week of a normal period again. This 'cycle' has gone on for two months and had happened once before two months prior.
I am 43yrs old. No medical or family medical history of ANY conditions and have always prior had normal periods. Any ideas?
