I Have A Haematoma On My Bottom Leg Which Has

I have a haematoma on my bottom leg which has been there well over a month after slipping and hitting it on wooden stairs. I've tried to elevate it but nothing seems to be working. The swelling has pretty much disappeared but there is still dark discolouration on my leg and it still looks bruised. What can I do?
