I Have A Herniated Disc In My Lower Back Which

I have a herniated disc in my lower back which may require surgery. I also have a colonoscopy coming up but I'm worried that the positions they will place me in while unconscious for the colonoscopy might further injure my herniated disc. Is this a legit concern?
