I Have A Hiatal Hernia At The End Of My

I have a hiatal hernia at the end of my esophagus. I am now having to have an endoscopy ever 3-4 years. I have had 5 and have been on nexium or the generic for over 17 years and the gerd has become more aggressive. If I miss my meds. for more than 24 hrs. the gerd begin to cause heart burn and sleep discomfort. is there a test by the name of Nissen that may help me?
