I Have A History Of A Herniated Disk L4-L5 That

I have a history of a herniated disk L4-L5 that in the past, per MRI, a piece had broken off and was impinging on my S1. It was a noted change because I was suddenly unable to sleep on my sides. The Radiologist told me that the piece would eventually be absorbed. I believe it did because the symptoms eventually resolved. Now I have a new sensation where I am experiencing a feeling of "warmth" like pouring warm water down my lower leg from mid posterior calf to half of the sole of my foot. It happens about 2-3 times an hour. There is no associated weakness. I'm an ER nurse (last 20 years) so please feel free to use medical terms. I am just wondering when I should become concerned, and see my PCM, and what is the prognosis, meaning, will it most likely reabsorb like last time.
