I Have A History Of High Tri, And High Cholesterol.

I have a history of high tri, and high cholesterol. I was told by my doc to stop the meds.trilipex and 20 mg of crestor due to very high liver enzymes. I did and in 3 months I lost 4o lbs and lowered my a1c from 8.9 to 5.9 with diet and exercise. (no meds for diabetes) My ast and alt also went well with in the normal range too. Now 9 months later my a1c is still5.9 but my cholesterol is 278 total, tri is 298 hdl 41(highest in years). My ldl is now 173, and he told me to go back on my original meds to lower my numbers. I am afraid my liver enzymes will jump back up. Any thoughts? I gained 6 lbs back but am still eating much better. Thank you in advance. Im 39 male 6' 4" 240 lbs
