I Have A Horrible Cough For 3 Weeks, Took Steroids

I have a horrible cough for 3 weeks, took steroids (i hate) and antibiotics. No help. And the doctors would not prescribe anything to help with the cough. I am told to rest, which is not possible because I work and sleep is hard with the coughing.
