I Have A Ingrown Hair That I've Made The Mistake

I have a ingrown hair that I've Made the mistake and popped, but now it’s slightly raised (would not be able to tell unless you physically touch it) and the color has not came back in and it’s been about 2 months? It does not hurt at all. how would I get the color back to make it look normal again?
