I Have A Knot To Come Up Under My Arm

I have a knot to come up under my arm in the armpit right in the center. its really red it hurts alot trying to move my arm around. It also kinda hard its got like a small white head on it. I"ve had a couple of people tell me it might be an in grown hair, what do you think
