I Have A Large 2nd/3rd Degree Burn Covering Above My

I have a large 2nd/3rd degree burn covering above my knee to mid way shin area. I have seen a doctor, been on antibiotics meds and applied the antibiotic ointments. Now that all pink skin is starting to heal, do I discontinue the ointment and began applying moisturizer ? there is still a lot of healing pain and electro nerve ending volting through my leg. What do i need to do ? And is organic coconut oil a good moisturizer for the healing ?
