I Have A Large Haematoma On My Thigh Which Is

I have a large haematoma on my thigh which is very uncomfortable. My doctor has drained it twice taking 150mls of blood and 95mls the second time. My leg was bound tightly after each procedure but it continues to swell up again. Is it safe to just leave it alone or should it be continually drained. My worry is infection.
