I Have A Large Hard Place Under The Skin Below

I have a large hard place under the skin below my belly button, about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. I had a car wreck about 2 weeks ago, suffered many bruises and went to hspital to get checked for abdominal bleeding.had an mri and was told I was ok. Most of the bruises have healed but this hard place remains. Is it just a deep bruise that will take longer to heal?
