I have a large hole in my top upper tooth, along with a cavity on the opposite side of the same tooth. I have been in pain for at least a month now. The pain is detrimental at night time, and I can't sleep. I see an oral surgeon September 8, 2015. I currently use Ibuprofen, gargle salt water, brush with sensitive toothpaste, numbing agents, you name it I've done it! Anything I eat or drink causes a throbbing sensation. Is there anything else you could recommend for some pain relief?
