I Have A Lump Near The Root Of Helix In

I have a lump near the root of helix in left ear. i realized it was there when it started to itch. I apparently scratched too hard and "burst" the lump. Clear liquid came out of it. Since the "burst", it's painful when pressure is applied to the area and I have noticed some redness and heat in the area. I applied peroxide with a q-tip and it bubbled like crazy. I was wondering if this is possibly a cyst and whether this may go away or whether I need to see an ENT.
