I Have A Lump On My Gums On The Front

I have a lump on my gums on the front upper area which the dentist told me is supposed to be there. I am missing my front 7 teeth so it’s very visible to me. The problem is, is it’s very lose and it’s hanging down and it moves around and now it’s discolored and I’m afraid it’s going to fall off. I’m freaking out cuz I don’t know what will happen if it falls off.
