I Have A Lump The Size Of A Half Dollar

I have a lump the size of a half dollar on the front area of my left ankle right above my foot. It has been getting larger and becoming more sore for about a month. I do not recall banging it and it has never been bruised. It is very sore to the touch and getting more so. I do have bad veins and am concerned about blood clots. I am a female age 55.
