I Have A Lump Under The Skin On My Outside

I have a lump under the skin on my outside upper thigh there is no pain associated with it at all. Size is about a half a golf ball and its been the same for over a year. Who would I see to have it looked at, i would like to go to the doctor that can remove it to. It does not freely move under the skin but more like attached to the muscle again no pain.
