I Have A Mini Rotator Cuff Tear Right Shoulder But
I have a mini rotator cuff tear right shoulder but two docs say not bad enough for surgery -- I am diabetic and they're afraid of frozen shoulder -- I have taken 3 weeks of physical therapy for the shoulder but next day pain is back and tends to radiate across from right shoulder to neck and upper back -- had disc 6 and 7 fused a few years ago (2007) -- but major issue now seems to be my hand down to the fingertips and right arm hurting so terribly bad that I'm unable without pain to curl my hair - pick up even a cup of coffee, or most any object without using assistance with my left hand, fingers feel like they're gonna break; paint also shoots down from my elbow down under side of my arm to hand -- I've had carpal tunnel surgery on the right hand along with dequervain's syndrome surgery on right wrist and right thumb trigger surgery -- all of these done around 2009 - 2012..............I've scheduled an appointment with my hand doctor to readdress this problem before going to neck doctor -- I'm only taking extra strength Tylenol for pain and after an hour or so the symptoms slow down and have some pain relief -- have trouble sleeping at night -- can't seem to find comfortable position except on left side with right arm extended over body on top of a pillow.......................I'm prone to kidney stones due to a highly uric acid body from what urologist tells me -- UNKERS salve seems to help for a short period of time only -- having a hard time turning my head to the right since all this started as well which was last October......just need suggestions on where to turn to -- ortho shoulder doc says my hand pain has nothing to do with my shoulder so is it hand, wrist very sore when all the pain is going on; or is it spine; I recently had an mri done and ortho surgeon (actually his PA) stated 2 bone spurs on my shoulder with the mini tear but 2nd opionion ortho surgeon who only does shoulders says nothing on it to warrant surgery, thus therapy' ive continued my pt at home and it feels better til next day -- -- ortho surgeon says maybe diabetic neuropathy or osteoarthritis?
