I Have A Mole That I Have Had My Entire

I have a mole that i have had my entire life, this morning i noticed that it was sore and had some rancid smellling fluid leaking from it. In my sleep, lately, i have been scratching it, or pulling on it. (It is a rather large protruding mole)
I have had this mole since birth, my mother even called it my birth mark when i was younger. The smell and oozing is extremely alarming. It has never caused me an issue before. What should i do? I havecleaned it up as much as i can, shower,peroxide and neosporin have all been applied. It is sore, and i am a little freaked out about it.
