I Have A Mother In Law That Takes Pain Meds,

I have a mother in law that takes pain meds, today I noticed she held her mouth kind of stiff and her words were kind of forced or hard to pronounce. She has taken meds for nerve pain for many years. One is prescribed Norco and I think the other is Vicadine. Could this be maybe over medication or mini stroke?
