I Have A Niggle Tooth That Has Repeat Infections Which

I have a niggle tooth that has repeat infections which if root treatment doesn't work I will have to have removed. It's been fine for 6 months since last bout of antibiotics but has reared its head again. I only have clindamycin in the cupboard will these be OK to take as I can't get to dentist for a few days.
