I Have A Nose "lesion" That Will Not Heal. It

I have a nose "lesion" that will not heal. It began as a what I thought was a "zit", but it grew outward. I managed to bleed it out and take it back down to the surface, but it will not heal. I am making an appt. with a dermatologist, but it's a ways away and thought someone may have a "trick", for lack of a better term, that may assist me. Thank you in advance.
