I Have A One Month Old Baby Boy He Was

I have a one month old baby boy he was born at 37 weeks he has a inguinal hernia on right side of stomach in groin and it makes a sound like water when pushed back in and comes out.is this something to be worried about I'm worried it will get bad should I do the surgery to fix it now or wait.third boy first with a hernia so I'm worried something will happen it's scary.
