I Have A Pacemaker For Sss. My Atrial Lead Is

I have a pacemaker for sss. My atrial lead is noisy and has been turned off. I am now being paced only with the ventricle lead at 45bpm instead of the 60 I have been used to. I am due to have the lead replaced in a couple of weeks time. My problem is, apart from ththe constant palpatations is the cough which only happens when I sit or lie down. It seems to coincide with a missed bear, or feels like a missed beat. Any suggestions heritedI'll be gratefully received.
