I Have A Pain I've Never Had Before On The

I have a pain I've never had before on the right side above the hip. It hurts more when lying down or turning over in bed. It really makes me jump and shout out. My GP said it was muscular but it has worsened over the past few weeks. I suffer back problems normally but it's a different kind of pain.
