I Have A Pain In Left Buttocks That Radiates Down

I have a pain in left buttocks that radiates down the left leg. Has been this way for about 4 weeks after an exercise class, I kept thinking it would get better, seemed to for about a week, but back to original pain. Cannot put pressure on left leg to walk up stairs, hurts while sitting, walking etc
