I Have A Pain In My Back Above The Left

I have a pain in my back above the left hip bone, it feels like a pulled muscle but only hurts when I make certain movements, it has been persistent for about two weeks. Is there an internal organ near this area that I should be concerned about, or is it just a muscle pull that is taking a long time to repair?
