I Have A Pain In My Upper Back Between My

I have a pain in my upper back between my shoulder and neck. It feels like a sore muscle but when massaging it it is pulsing like a heart beat. I just took 400 ibuprophen and amlodipine and cytalopram which I take every night...except for the ib. Can it be heart.
