I Have A Pain Management Doctor And Got A Refill

I have a pain management doctor and got a refill of 180 tramadol 50mg. Strength. I went in to see him yesterday and asked for an increase. He made a second script the extra 60 . Dillons pharmacy in Pratt ks would not fill It today because i filled the existing script. Was the pharmacist right? do I have to wait another 30 daysnto et the 240?
