I Have A Pain Running Down The Right Back Side

I have a pain running down the right back side of my ribs, kind of on the side as well as the back. i have had it for awhile now (several months). i have taken muscle relaxers, ibuprofen and acetomenifen. ibuprofen is the only thing that helps a little, it is getting to the point that it hurts to breathe. any ideas?
