I Have A Painless Lump On The Back Of My

I have a painless lump on the back of my thigh. I don't believe its a zit or anything like that because its under the skin and quite hard. It very bruised when I noticed it, so I figured it was just swelling, but its been a few weeks since then. The bruising is gone but the lump is still there. Any ideas doc?
