I Have A Papilion Breed She Has Been On Pednesone

I have a papilion breed she has been on pednesone because of allergies. ibuy her food at the vets. she has dry been on a bb dry food plus royal canin hypoallergenic can food recommended by my vet.he also put her on vanectyl-p since may 2013 .on dec/14 she was put on apo sulfrhrin ant biotic for chest infection and coufing that cleared up but then she started to have stomache cramps so severe that she would cry out in pain my regular vet was away so I took her to another vet and he recomendad that she be spayed which I okd she was put on metacam 1.5mg clavaseptin250/500 mg this vet took her off of the prednosone cold turkey itook her back in today because of her cramps he put her on tramadol 50mg 1/2 pill twice daily for 5 days for pain. I will take her in 6days to remove stiches and blood work she had exrays which were neg. my question is should she have been taken off of pednesone she is tremendely itichy and could that be a reason for her stomac cramps. I am terably strest out to hear her cry out in pain the tramadol works but it wears of in about 6 hrs then she is back in pain. Russell Groulx
