I Have A Piece Of My Tonsil Basically Torn Off/coming

I have a piece of my tonsil basically torn off/coming off. I just noticed it after I ate dinner, felt like I had a piece of food stuck at the back of my throat and it's actually a flap of skin. Seems to be hitting my uvula everytime I swallow now. It doesn't hurt but it's annoying, not sure how to proceed.
