I Have A Pinched Sciatic Nerve, The Pain Is Intense

I have a pinched sciatic nerve, the pain is intense and radiate down my leg when i stand or bend my leg. My doctor prescribed a nerve mediacation, muscle relaxer, and ibuprofen. None which have provided any relief. I started developing diarrhea the last 2 days that seems to not be caused by anything in particular besides perhaps the nerve issues. Do you think these symptoms are related and should I be concerned?
