I Have A Place On The Bridge Of My Nose

I have a place on the bridge of my nose and my GP/ NP can't even get me an appointment with a dermatologists for over a month within 50 miles of me. Why does everything I read say to get to a dermatologist asap but when trying to get in they don't consider it something to get worked in for? I'm very worried of this and the changes it's done over the past 10 days. I was already at my GP/NP and told to get to a specialist but I can't get in!
