I Have A Pointed Pain (like A Toothache) Under By

I have a pointed pain (like a toothache) under by jawline, straight down from my eye. It hurts (like a toothache) for a few seconds, subsides, then returns after a couple of minutes. Do things like usually that take care of themselves, or...? I'm not one to go to the doctor for every little ache/pain! :-) 68 year old female in good health.
