I Have A Problem. I Have Been Suffering From An

I have a problem. i have been suffering from an itchy vagina with a little pain. The itchy part is something i have experienced before and my doctor prescribed fluconazole pills for me which worked almost instantly. I recently traveled and found myself in the same problem but I couldn't get the pills because they have to be prescribed, I was instead given a vaginal cream with the active ingredient being coltrimazole. The burn i get when i use it is quite severe and sometimes causes bleeding. I want to know if this is normal and if I should discontinue use if not.
