I Have A Problem Near The Entrance Of My Vagina.

I have a problem near the entrance of my vagina. Ifeel a growth like a cyst and it bleeds sometimes. I haven't been able to have sex. It feels like sandpaper somtimes. My Dr. prescribed vagifem 10 mcg and it has helped my vaginal lining but I'm afraid of the bleeding cyst. He is my primary care physician and I know I have to see a gyn. Is there anything I can do by myself?
