I Have A Problem With Swelling In My Stomach And

I have a problem with swelling in my stomach and lower abdomen. this just started last month and it is getting worse. I am a 70 year female, I've tried different over the counter meds. but nothing seem to help, please if you can help I would appreciate it very much.. Even when I eat my food don't seem to go down and when I belch it come back up..
