I Have A Protruding Disc/discs (c5 C6) Making My Nerve

I have a protruding disc/discs (c5 c6) making my nerve on the right side of my neck, shoulder and arm very painful. Is it possible for a chiropractor to adjust the spine where the nerve won't be irritated? The other choice is neck sx ( epidural injections did not help at all)
