I Have A Question About Me And My Discharge Today

I have a question about me and my discharge today in the after noon i noticed it was like bleeding and i already have my period? whats going on i hope nothings wrong with me cause im not the type to tell my mom about things cause shes not so understanding. It was like a brownish kinda bleeding color. Im a teeanger. i was looking up things online telling me i should tell a docotr or go get checked but im scared.
