I Have A Question About My 10 Year Old. She

I have a question about my 10 year old. She had several medical problems as a younger child. She have a problem in school comprehending what she read and hear. She can catch on to things that are not as important at the moment, for instance, she can remember directions, phone numbers and things of that nature. You can tell her something, she can repeat it right then if she do not think to long, but she second guest herself and then it be wrong. She is falling behind in school and I am very concerned.
